Fishing Trips

Mangawhai is the a gateway to world class fishing. We can customise trips to suit your requirements. Managwhai is an active fishing destination. Get a small group together and enter one of the many tournaments.

  1. All bait, tackle and morning or afternoon tea included.
  2. All groups and individuals can be catered for.
  3. ½ day and full day charters available
  4. Minium boat hire $420 (½ day) $800 (full day).
  5. Combination dive and fish charters available.
  6. Evening Fishing available.
  7. Kingfishing, & hapuka fishing by arrangement.

Diving Trips

Come and explore some of the best diving in the world. We can arrange dive trips to the Hen & Chicken Islands, Sail Rock, Mokohinaus, Little Barrier as well as many local coastal reefs/pinnacles.

  1. Dive trips include 2 dives.

Take a trip up the coast to Bream Head, out around the Hen & Chicken islands, up or down the coast and explore the sand dunes, or to one of several magnificent beaches, Langs,Waipu,Ruakaka,Te arai, on the coast, weather permitting

Our Vessel

Our new 8.5meter Senator boat ETEC 1 has been purpose built, for fishing and diving, and will transport you quickly and safely, to all the best fishing/diving areas that Bream Bay can offer.

ETEC 1 is a Senator Pontoon design, proven and trusted by boaties throughout New Zealand, Senator Boats are valued for their stability, added bonus of protection from the elements with a spacious cabin, fishing cockpit, and toilet. Ideally suited for 4 - 6 fishing at any one time, the boat is in safe ship management and currently in survey for 11 people with Maritime NZ.
